Please meet our wonderful Color Crew! Think of these ladies as the Designed To Color Design Team. We are here to inspire each of you to create and color something beautiful!
My name is Carisa Zglobicki and I’ve been stamping for about 3 years. My personal blog is Lady Guinevere’s Inky Faeries. Anyone who knows me in the crafting world knows that I love coloring above anything so that is how Designed To Color was born. I’m very excited to bring an inspiration magazine for coloring enthusiasts of all levels and styles.
I’m Lizzie Oakley! I’ve been crafting and drawing and being artsy ever since I could hold a crayon! I don’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t involved with art in any form! I’m super excited to be apart of Carisa’s color crew and to help bring creativity and color to everyone that we meet! She’s an awesome lady and I’m completely honored to be here! I love water colors! I have used Copics and other markers and mediums in the past, and I still paint with acrylics, but man, water colors are so awesome! I love the messiness and the effect and just /swoon EVERYTHING!
And don’t forget to check out my blog Oh Snap Lizzie!
Hi folks! I’m Leah the Orange, and I’m really BIG on colour (spelled with a U, ‘cuz I’m a Canuck!), so I am thrilled to be one of the Color Crew for Designed to Color! I’m in South Jersey, where our winters are non-existent and our summers are soupy, and I have a never-ending love affair with my Prismacolor Pencils. Yep, that’s my medium of choice! I am a cardie girl, all the way (not only do I make cards, but I wear cardigans, too!), and I love to do it up all bold and bright, fun and crazy, once in a while clean and simple.
I blog at The Chronicles of Orange, and you’ll see me hanging out with the Odd Girls, and the Charisma Galz, too. I’m quirky and silly and a proud grammar nazi. I’m not at all shy, I make up my own vocabulary and I am more than a little obsessed with foreign/indie movies, vintage hats, bubble tea, puzzle games and eighties music. I don’t respond well when someone tells me I can’t do something; I’ll prove them wrong every time! Go on, tell me I can’t sprout wings and fly… I’ll soon be making a guest appearance in a treetop near you!
I have been stamping for 7 yrs and I LOVE IT!! I truly understand what the word “passion” means now. It’s crazy that there can be a hobby that makes one so stupid excited about supplies!! LOL! I use to scrapbook but just enjoy cardmaking so much that it’s been a few years since I’ve turned a page in my scrapbooks. So thrilled to see Smash books out now!
My favorite cards to make are Christmas cards (ok really I love them all) and my favorite color combo’s normally have pink or blue in them. I also love using what is “in season” except for yellow. Oh how it challenges me!! I have taken the beginner’s and intermediate Copic courses but I’m still practicing and don’t consider myself to be any kind of pro yet. The one supply I could not live without — Copics. I ♥♥♥ the way they look when colored.
This hobby has brought me together with the most beautifully talented women and has amazed me at how it can bring the farthest parts of the earth together and into my own home. Love it!!
Check out my blog Cards and More cards!
I’m Lou Mac from Cartolinas from Lou Mac and I’ve been card making for just over four years now. I’ve always loved paper and stationary, so to me, crafting is a more grown up version of the colouring I’ve always enjoyed. Pretty patterned papers and shiny embellishments make me happy no end. I’m over the moon to be a part of Carisa and Lizzie’s colour crew and I hope to bring inspiration to our awesome readers, and in turn learn more techniques and tricks to firmly secure under my crafty belt. xo
